🕊 Rooted in Christ, Open to All
🏠More Than Shelter — A Place to Grow
đź’° Building Independence, One Savings at a Time
At ACWO, we offer more than just a roof over a child’s head—we provide a true home. Every child is welcomed with warmth, safety, and stability, forming the foundation they need to heal and grow.
We believe education is a powerful key to breaking cycles of poverty. That’s why we prioritize schooling, tutoring, and life skills training, giving every child the tools to build a brighter, independent future.
But growth is not just academic—it’s emotional and spiritual too. Through loving guidance, mentorship, and faith-based support, we help children rediscover hope, develop confidence, and feel the deep joy of being seen, heard, and loved.
Right now, ACWO is powered almost entirely by the tireless efforts of our founder, who single-handedly manages daily operations, cares for the children, handles logistics, and keeps the mission alive with unwavering faith and love.
But no one can do it alone. As our mission grows, so does the need for helping hands—people willing to give their time, energy, and heart to make a difference in a child’s life. Whether it’s teaching, cooking, organizing activities, or simply being a caring presence, every act of service counts.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of something meaningful, now is the time. Your support could be the light someone’s been waiting for.
As a Christian missionary organization, our work is inspired by the teachings of Jesus—love, compassion, humility, and service. We gently share these values with the children in our care through Bible stories, prayer, and spiritual guidance. However, we firmly believe that faith is a personal journey. While children are welcome to explore Christianity, they are never pressured to convert. We embrace children from all backgrounds, offering the same warmth, dignity, and support to every soul, regardless of their religion or beliefs. Our focus is on nurturing each child’s heart and mind, helping them grow in love and understanding, no matter their faith path.
🤝 We Need Helping Hands – Volunteer With Us
Each child at ACWO is given their own personal bank account, with the goal of supporting their college expenses and future independence. Well-wishers can directly donate to a specific child’s account, making it easier for them to invest in their future. As our organization becomes more financially stable, we plan to top up a small amount into each child’s account to further enhance their savings.
When each child turns 17, the full amount in their account is handed over to them—giving them the freedom to make decisions about their future. While we take responsibility for their care, we also believe they should have the same freedoms as any other child. They are encouraged to manage their savings, learning the true value of money and developing financial discipline. This empowers them to make thoughtful choices about spending, preparing them for adulthood with responsibility and independence.
